Percurso

Route

The route’s initial stage runs along with the green route, through the streets of Coja and the Roman Bridge, where the dirt paths begin, at
the Valley’s Park. At this point, the route continues along the limit of the urban perimeter of Coja, near the airfield and the area of the old ceramic industries, where it leaves the green route towards the north (N). From this point forward, the route continues along the Valley of the Alva River, up to the bridge at Barril de Alva.

Here the route reverses its direction, close to Vila Cova de Alva, towards Coja through higher grounds and with a wide view over the Valley of the Alva up to the vicinity of the old ceramics’ clay pits. In this area, the route inflects south (S) towards Casal de São João and then towards Piso, going through ancient streets towards the agricultural fields. From this point, the route follows the direction of the Margaraça Woods River, up to the Lady of the River (“Senhora da Ribeira”), crossing the river by ford or through a pedestrian bridge, finding the green route again and following the agricultural trail up to the end at Prado’s Park.
